How to prepare

Train for the elevation

One of the most challenging aspects of the event is the elevation gain on the bike and run course. Train for this by incorporating hill repeats into your workouts. You can try training at altitude to help acclimate your body to the thinner air.

Practice your transitions

Transition times can greatly impact your race time, so practice switching between disciplines quickly and efficiently. You can also practice putting on and taking off your wetsuit, as this can be a time-consuming task if you're not used to it.
